US troops are pulling out of Ukraine as a Russian invasion becomes increasingly plausible.

160 Florida National Guard soldiers are the only US troops in Ukraine. US Department of Defense confirmed that they are being repositioned elsewhere in Europe.  (Source: DoD)

Those troops were on a mission to train with Ukrainian forces. They operated far from the Ukraine-Russian border, where Russia has amassed some 130,000 troops.

Biden has promised that American soldiers will not fight in Ukraine. However, thousands of US soldiers have mobilized to strengthen NATO’s eastern flank alongside soldiers from other European powers.

“It appears increasingly likely this situation is heading toward active conflict…there are limits of what we can do in a war zone,” the senior State Department official said.

President Joe Biden ordered another 3,000 paratroopers from Fort Bragg to Poland. Approximately 1,000 US troops with the 2nd Cavalry Regiment in Germany have deployed to Romania.
