Military Instagram Influencers to follow

With over one billion monthly active users on Instagram (and growing), it has become a social media giant over the past ten years. Whatever niche you can imagine, it’s on Instagram. The more popular hashtags on Instagram contain over 500 million posts. However, with a large number of spam accounts using irrelevant hashtags, it’s not the best way to find profiles you’re keen on. The military has grown a large presence on social media in the past decade, including on Instagram.

You’re sure to be in awe of the main military accounts like DOD’s for the incredible imagery and stories. However, in this article, we want to highlight those who served in the US Armed forces. Those who are now making a splash in the digital space as Instagram influencers. Please keep in mind that some of these accounts are meant for mature eyes only.

Mat_Best_Official

Mat is a former Army Ranger who deployed five times to Iraq and Afghanistan. Following his retirement, he evolved into an extremely successful entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of Black Rifle Coffee Company, but that’s only one piece of his extraordinary life. Following Mat, you can expect comedic lifestyle and inspirational content.

TheCombatBarbie

Imagine a sexy barbie who decided to join the United States Marine Corps. Rianna Conner Carpenter’s Instagram page is where Playboy meets the military. While you won’t find anything other than bikini photos on her feed, her fun, excitable personality shines through in her story posts.

RealLeifBabin

Leif Babin asks the questions that make you think. He is a United States Naval Academy graduate and Navy SEAL officer who served in the Battle of Ramadi as one of the Officers in Charge in Task Unit Bruiser. He authored two New York Best Sellers alongside Jocko Willink (who you’re probably already familiar with) and is the Co-Founder of Echelon Front, which offers intensive leadership and alignment training, workshops, keynote presentations, and more. In conclusion, follow Leif on social media to be inspired and motivated- you won’t regret it.

Justin Lascek

Speaking of being inspired, get ready to meet Justin Lascek, a combat-wounded double-amputee and huge mental-health advocate. While Justin currently sits at 60,000 followers, his content is well worth viral attention. Although Justin doesn’t post daily on Instagram, he’s surely someone you’ll want to keep up with. Additionally, be sure to check out and subscribe to his podcast!
