The Basics

What is The Edge?

An interactive financial education hub built by GoVA to help military families learn, plan, and make more confident money decisions.

The Edge is an interactive financial education platform created by GoVA. It includes courses, calculators, planning tools, and other resources across more than 100 money topics, all designed specifically for the military community.

Unlike a static resource library, The Edge uses a financial assessment to personalize the experience. GoVA says the platform builds each member a learning path based on financial goals, pain points, and current financial literacy, helping users focus on the material most relevant to their situation.

The platform is available at no cost to eligible service members, Veterans, and military or Veteran spouses through GoVA. No credit card is required to join.
