The $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill passes the Senate
This comes as a result of months of negotiations. The Senate voted for the bill, 69-30, passing the 1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure plan.
This includes $550 billion in new funding for transportation, broadband, and utilities. All 50 Democrats were joined by 19 Republicans to pass the bill.
The bill is now on its way to the House of Representatives.
